How to Make Pantone's Greenery

Greenery: Pantone's 2017 Color of the Year

Each year Pantone releases a colour that will be heavily used in many industries, including fashion and home decor. Pantone's 2017 'Colour of The Year' is Greenery. This years shade is a unique yellow based green colour. It is a striking and strong colour that is also fresh and hopeful.

Greenery is a yellow green colour; the closest Tintex fabric dye to Greenery is kelly green, but there are others ways of making a custom Greenery colour.

Mix Greenery Using Core Tintex Dyes

Add brilliant yellow to make kelly green warmer. A small amount of forest green may be mixed with a larger amount of brilliant yellow. Alternately, mixing midnight blue and brilliant yellow could work. You may also try using beige as a substitute for brilliant yellow. Get any size of these dyes in the Greenery Dye Collection.

Have fun! You can always adjust your custom colour formula as needed by just adding more or less green/yellow. *Brighter dye intensities use double the usual amount and lighter colours use less dye.
